Although my education has value, my best credentials come from experience.  My childhood included emotional and physical abuse, as did that of my mentally handicapped sister (whom I now care for). Alcoholism and hoarding run heavily in my family. I lost both of my parents to cancer when I was young.  I’ve been a casualty of corporate America’s layoffs. Most recently I underwent gastric bypass surgery to help me deal with a lifelong battle with my weight. It was not a decision I made quickly. My heart is truly committed to helping support individuals and their family cope with this life-changing surgery.
